The evolution of the tactical response uniform is here! The newly designed T.R.U. Xtreme line of apparel by Tru-Spec is new for August 2010.

Everything has been re-designed from the ground up with this garment system. Specifically tailored to the tactical operator, the features found in the T.R.U. Xtreme are high-end without the price that you might expect.

The T.R.U. Xtreme system consists of 4 total garments: a shirt, pant, combat shirt and vest. The addition of a vest and a combat shirt to a tactical uniform gives the operator an efficient uniform that can be mission ready at a moments notice.

All that is required is to remove the uniform's vest and throw on body armor over the combat shirt. With a light, breathable base layer as the body of the combat shirt, the operator stays cooler and is more comfortable. When the mission is over, simply don the uniforms vest again to maintain a clean appearance.

The shirt and combat shirt both feature two slanted shoulder pockets with VELCRO® loop sided panels for attaching insignia. The angle of these pockets allow for quick access to the contents, but in addition to this top opening, a side zippered pocket is available as well behind the main pocket.

Tru-Spec has also included with each shirt a forearm document pocket that is removable and fits either the right or left sleeve. Mission notes, maps and codes can be safely stored under the water resistant window covered by a privacy flap. This flap has integrated slots for storing pens, markers or slim penlights. Additional pouches will be made available by Tru-Spec for various mission specific requirements in late 2010 - 2011.

The T.R.U. Xtreme pant could be considered one of the most comfortable tactical pants on the market. The slider waist is made to move with you and expands up to two inches. This is the same design found in the popular 24-7 tactical pant and included by request of some of the most elite operators.

Adding to the range of movement the entire pant is articulated to naturally follow the leg's bend and a diamond shaped gusted crotch provides a more relaxed fit.

Six total pockets and two knee pad pockets give this pant plenty of storage.

Both shirts as well as the pant feature Super Fabric® patches provide for extra high abrasion resistance to high wear areas in the knees and elbows. Super Fabric® is designed to be cut and stain resistant and extends the life of your uniform versus traditional re-enforced designs.

All of the garments in the T.R.U. Xtreme garment system are made from rugged lightweight 50/50 Nylon Cotton (NyCo) Ripstop fabric for added comfort in any season.

Solid colors will be available August 15, 2010 while MULTICAM® will be available October 15, 2010.
