The Propper APECS Gore-Tex parka and pant are the real deal. Official issue with NSN numbers and built to air force specifications, you can't get any more authentic.
You may be thinking that the APECS system is just ECWCS in ABU, but you'd be wrong. This system has a totally different layout and design.

The other version is made by Tennier Industries (which makes a lot of apparel for the U.S. government). It has the exact same specifications but does NOT use Goretex, that is the difference.

What is the difference between the Propper APECS jacket and pants and the other ones you have on clearance? They seem to have the same NSN numbers. Is the Propper version worth the extra money? Thanks.
