UPDATE: The Under Armour Speed Freek is now active and in stock!

Here's a follow up to our post back in January about the Under Armour's boots we got a peek at on the Shot Show floor.

The 6" Speed Freek is one of Under Armour's latest boots designed for military, law enforcement and civilian operators.  Joining the Valsetz and GORE-TEX Breech, the Speedfreak is a ultralight MultiCam boot for quick missions.

As a lightweight assault boot, the Speed Freek has a great set of features.  The Cordura MultiCam panels on the upper compliment the coyote pigskin. The fully contoured midsole also features a tan/olive coloration and are practically weightless. The outsole is aggressively designed and is puncture resistant for when you're on rocky terrain or avoiding glass and nails in an urban environment.

For your foot health, the Ortholite footbeds provide extra arch support and ETC anti-friction technology helps cut down on hot spots, while the GORE-TEX liner will keep you dry in wet weather. This means that your feet will stay comfortable and supported with fewer blisters throughout your mission.

This is a great boot that blends seamlessly into your MultiCam uniform, such as the new TRU Xtreme from Tru-Spec.  Available also in black for law enforcement and special operations.  The Speed Freek boot will be available at uscav.com starting in August. U.S. Cavalry is excited to offer the new Massif Integrated Tactical Jacket. The first run of these jackets are Berry Compliant and made in the USA.  Three colors of jackets are available:  Tan (a U.S. Cavalry exclusive), OD Green and Black.

This performance soft shell is designed specifically for seamless compatibility with tactical vests and armor.  It lacks unpractical hand-warmer pockets that aren't accessible anyway under body armor or plate carriers, and would just add bulk. However, two mesh lined chest pockets and two shoulder pockets give plenty of storage for gear you need to keep close by. The mesh lining also gives the wearer the option to ventilate when and where they need to without removing their kit.

The mobility and comfort of the ITJ is great. Constructed with a lightweight 5.5 ounce 4-way stretch woven fabric for exceptional breathability and moisture wicking in the chest, the sleeves and yoke utilize a wind resistant 6.5 ounce 4-way stretch fabric treated with DWR for wet conditions. This is the first garment made by Massif specifically for missions that do not require flame resistance (FR).

Since this is a non-FR garment, the price is extremely competitive for a quality tactical softshell.  As of this post you can buy yours at uscav.com for $119.99 and receive a free matching U.S. flag patch with your order for a limited time.

The hybrid design of the Integrated Tactical Jacket fills an immediate need for a comfortable, high-performance shell for professionals who spend a lot of time in armor in varied conditions.

A high collar protects the solider, LE officer or contractor against the elements, slings and hot brass when on the range or in combat.

Massif is a world leader in designing and manufacturing high-performance outdoor gear. Many of Massif’s products are approved and fielded by the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard, including the Army Combat Shirt and the Massif Elements Jacket.

Get one, try it out and leave us your review of the Massif Integrated Tactical Jacket. We'd love to hear what you have to say.

The Propper APECS Gore-Tex parka and pant are the real deal.  Official issue with NSN numbers and built to air force specifications, you can't get any more authentic.

You may be thinking that the APECS system is just ECWCS in ABU, but you'd be wrong.  This system has a totally different layout and design.

Both the parka and pant feature NIR or near infrared signature management technology that keeps your profile low at night.

The Propper APEX system can be found today at uscav.com.

"So these things are sturdy. My unit got these issued before a deployment to Afghanistan. In my experience, after first putting them on they seemed a LOT heavier than a normal boot (but then again I had been wearing the Oakley assault boots prior to it.) After walking around in them for a little while I got used to them and they turned out to be very very comfortable once broken in, and have lasted me ever since. I've only had them since April of 2010, but they're still holding up just fine."

Leupold touts the sight as brighter and sharper than the competition, as well as being lighter.
